Tropical flowers thrive naturally in tropical climates present along the equator. The flowers have delicate fragrances and are popular among flower lovers for their exquisite beauty. One such flower is the Titan Arum, which is recorded as the largest flower due to its un-branched inflorescence. The flower grows up to 12 feet in height and is common in   Asia. Another popular tropical flower is the African Moon, which is a white petal flower with a dark center. It covers huge fields in Namibia and other neighboring African countries. The African tulip also ranks among popular tropical flowers. It has orange scarlet color with pod like shapes. The pods usually hold water inside them and once open, they spill the water.

 

The Alpine Aster is another popular tropical flower, which has petals colored violet, pink and white. It is a common sight in alpine gardens and does well as a cut flower. The Alpinia tropical flowers are striking container plants that have different colors. The Amazon lily is a tropical flower; it is a sweet smelling white flower, which flower lovers like to keep as a potted plant. Angel Wing Begonia is another tropical flower that makes a beautiful houseplant and appears in colors ranging from pink, to red and orange.

 

The annual Delphinium has white, lilac or blue florets and blooms in warmer seasons. They have green finely dissected leaves. Another popular tropical flower is the white petal Begonia Fairlady that grows in well-drained soils, though they adopt well in hot weather, they are best suited for a draped shade. They can be seen in autumn and spring. A latest addition to the begonia range of flowers is the Begonia Non-Stop Deep Red. This flower is used for baskets, flower vases and provides a beautiful array of colors when left uncut in the garden.

 

The Bitter Gourd tropical flower has yellow petals, which offer a beautiful sight against the plant’s deep green leaves. The plant has bitter but edible fruits. The blanket flower on the other hand has petals that are separated into two color parts made up of yellow and crimson hues. The supporting plant does not have many leaves and the flower is therefore conspicuous in a garden setting. The bleeding heart wine has white and scarlet flowers and does well as a potted plant. The most spectacular tropical flower however would have to be the Blood Lily, which grows as a bulbous flowerhead that holds an accumulative 100 tiny flowers inside its spherical umbel. 

 

The Alpine aster is another warm tropical flower whose purple petals provide a delightful spectacle against the green camouflage of the flowers supporting plant. A blue dawn tropical flower has a purple-blue clustered inflorescence that change colors to a magenta in the evening, the blue jacaranda on the other hand has blue tube-like flowers and has  disc like seed  pods. The blue passion tropical flower has blue and purple filaments with an oval fruit. The plant has medicinal qualities. The chrysanthemum flowers are common tropical flowers that bloom in different colors ranging from white, red, pink, yellow and even purple. They grow in different forms and as a result, their popularity has grown worldwide.
